| The nature-nurture debate continues to rage in the world of psychology and has clear implications for how mental health practitioners assess, diagnose, and treat their clientele. Are variations in human traits (such as IQ) and behaviors (personality, psychopathology) best understood as being the result of genetic factors or of environmental factors? In this workshop, you develop critical thinking skills about nature-nurture issues and related genetic research, and become better and more informed practitioners. |
